Senior Performance Standards

The performance predictions are based upon an analysis of international results from 2004 to the present day (both junior and senior). By looking at the relationships between the classes and the performance within the classes we can predict the expected results with a reasonable level of accuracy. The results predictions do expect an improvement of performance from selection to the championship event.

The performance standards for 2012 are set as A1 (expected result in top 50%), and are valid for the selection event only.

Jessica's profile is now back on the ICF website, after a short absence. Here's hoping and expecting that many more of our athletes will be profiled alongside her.

Peak UK Recommended sizes

Peak are ordering in some new sizes of deck to fit a wider range of paddlers. The original deck which some of you may have tried was 32", they are also ordering 34" and 36". Any top can be matched with any deck. To determine the correct size - measure your torso at the height of the cockpit (note this often is not near your waist!) - and then take the next size bigger. You then need to determine how long in the body you want the deck - measure from the deck to your shoulders. Err on the side of length as you can always put elastic braces in to take up any slack and still allow rotation (images to show example of this to follow).

Peak UK Team Discount

Peak UK are offering 30% discount to 2009 team paddlers. Please pool your orders, and put them in together to help Peak.
