Additional Info: A friendly informal race, ideal for anyone that wishes to enter a paddling competition. Open to any paddler or boat combination. The course is a time trial around the Barrow Loop, near Loughborough, comprising of a gentle warm up along the canal, followed by a short portage, the 3km (1.8 mile) race itself is along the course of the river Soar, starting below Barrow New Weir and finishing at The Moorings Public House
