2026 Paddle Europe Junior and U23 Wildwater Championships

******* Call for Volunteers *******

With the 2026 Paddle Europe Junior and U23 Wildwater Championships confirmed, with the signing of the Host Agreement by Paddle Scotland, Paddle UK and Paddle Europe now is the time for a “Call for Volunteers” from among the Wildwater Racing community and the wider UK paddling community.

We’re looking for a small number of volunteers to help with the organisation, between now and the 12th August, and many more volunteers to assist at the Champs ideally from the 10th August with a handful of volunteers from 8th August. You’ll find a list of volunteer roles below, both for organisational type roles before the event as well as roles during the event. Can you indicate on the attached form which roles you’d be willing to volunteer for. Please also indicate the dates that you will be available.

Paddle Scotland has offered to support volunteers by offering free camping at the Grandtully Campsite for volunteers for the duration of their volunteering. This will include caravan and camper van pitches, but please note that if you’re bringing along someone who isn’t volunteering they would have to pay as normal. Once roles have been allocated we will get back in touch with a booking code, that will allow you to book a pitch as the campsite bookings are currently closed for the duration of the Champs. The campsite booking system will likely reopen for normal booking around the end of May.
