Rule Clarification – Race Publication & Ranking

Section 21.1, paragraph 6 of our rules currently states: “For races to be included in the ranking system, races need to appear in the calendar at least 30 days before the event takes place.”

After discission at the Aug 6th meeting, the WWRC would like to clarify that this means the race is live (not showing as provisional) and all relevant information is available for entries to be made and athletes to prepare. At the next rules revision this text will be updated.

It takes some time to fully prepare a web site event with payment links, necessary forms and checks. Race organisers are kindly requested to be well in advance of this timeline when preparing documentation.
