2008 International Races

Selection Race details

The details of the events are as follows:
Sat 19 April (afternoon) - Sprint Race over Bala Mill.
Start - To be confirmed (either just above or just below the weir)
Finish - Bala Canoe Club (100m below Bala Mill Fall)

Sun 20 April (morning) - Classic Race
The intention is to hold a race approx 12-13 mins in length.
Pre-start - All boats MUST launch from Tryweryn Centre
Start - To be confirmed (1-2 mins above road bridge)
Finish - Bala Canoe Club (100m below Bala Mill Fall)

The exact start lines will be confirmed in the last week of February.

There will be access to park at Bala Canoe Club (finish) in the field beside the clubhouse for the race weekend. There will also be catering provided by Bala Canoe Club including drinks and hot food which you are encouraged to use.
A Division A (double header) entry fee will be charged.
